Edit: Wow, I didn't even realize that some of these were produced around Boston. Lore is actually from the North Shore (where I'm from), pretty cool.
Boston has such an under-appreciated news sector. Between WBUR, PBS, and now the growth in podcasting, there is an enormous amount of world-class reporting coming out of the area.

Both the 60 Minutes and Frontline podcasts occasionally have true crime stories, and are surprisingly good considered it's just the audio ripped right from the tv show.
