I've gotten the impression over the years that Cornell and Carrie aren't necessarily fans of the bands music. More just good acquaintances and friends.
Also, has Soundgarden even been nominated yet for the hall? I can't see Chris wanting to take part in it

It'll be John Mayer, Ellie Goulding or Adam Levine. I'm pretty certain

Cornell covers Betterman a bit on his solo tours, I think he's a fan of the music as well as the people.

You can probably rule Springsteen out, he's obviously buddies with Eddie but he's said on numerous occasions that the last band in which he remembers everybody's name is U2.

I don't think soundgarden ever makes the hall of fame. Not for a long time, anyway. You'll get Pearl Jam, Nirvana, and the Pumpkins from the grunge standard bearers.

Pearl Jam will play an acoustic rendition of the Fixer with Dave A surrounded by scented candles; and at the end, Ed will gift him a wheelbarrow full of currency.

The Pumpkins are never getting in. Everybody hates Billy Corgan.

If they don't want to invite you into the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame, you're arguably doing something right.

Maybe in a broader sense but I don't think that applies to Billy Corgan

Is RATM in? Because I think they'd have a solid shot.
I'd say you're right. I wasn't really considering them "grunge" tho.

All this HOF talk pisses me off because it is a reminder that U2 still has their original lineup which you have to, gulp, respect.

It's easier to stay together when every member of the band likes to play shitty music though. That's why PJ has never been closer to each other than in the past seven years

Has anyone ever actually been surprised by which side of their bread is buttered? I mean, have you ever picked up a piece of buttered bread and thought, 'op, fuck, the butter's on the other side, now my fingers are all gross.'

"PJ"

Is that a reference to Eddie & The Jams?

Oh man, yes. I also make a lot of grilled cheese sandwiches that end up buttered on the inside and scorched black on the outside.

You should totally start buttering both sides of the bread when making grilled cheese sandwiches. You'd be some kind of super dad.
