if they are I would have to assume it is a reflection of either the value of the membership or the lack of activity from the band to sustain interest (either in terms of music or touring, since the tickets are the real reason to stay in this thing)

If membership numbers are down it serves them fucking right.

I just hope they get the message instead of just treating fans with even more contempt.

cool note about that show. My ticket seat # was Row 1 Seat 1. Luckily i was out of Ed's view on the side so he couldn't yell at me.

I doubt they're overly involved in how Tim runs the fanclub on a day-to-day basis, but they're ultimately responsible for the entire thing. If 10C are screwing up, it reflects poorly on the band.

I bet membership hasn't slipped too much, but I'd be surprised if they haven't pushed the vast majority of people into digital which probably costs them next to nothing.

I am a little annoyed that they're selling old Deeps and singles, but it doesn't bother me too much. You have to be a fan club member to get one, that's $20 minimum. Then the single and Deep cost $10 each plus $8 S&H. That's 48 bucks for something I pay $40 for plus I get a bootleg and some stickers.

Who would buy them other than someone who's gonna sell them in a secondary market for a major mark up?

I would have bought the old vinyl singles for the 3 years I don't have, and I have never even owned a record player. I would just want them for completion's sake.

So my membership expired on November 30th 2012, i renewed on January 8th. They say I'm not eligible for the single or deep for 2012. Really? i have had my membership since 1995 not missing a newsletter or single and now im not a "paid up" member for 1 month out of the year and im not gonna get it? Fucking lame

I don't remember which thread we were using to bitch about the 10C stickers, but apparently, this year's stuff is based on artwork by Monk One. You might have a chance to buy a print that actually says "Pearl Jam" instead of "Ten Club."
