There was one shout of “Free Palestine” at my stepson’s college graduation yesterday. But that was just for the school of economy. Tonight is the main full class of 24 graduation ceremony. We walked all around campus yesterday and didn’t see any protestors or encampments.

He interned with Raymond James in Manhattan last summer. They hired him last year with a start date after graduation. We’re moving him up to NYC the beginning of July

The FACE Act was supposed to be a compromise where both abortion clinics and places of worship were supposed to be off limits to disruptive protests. Dumb of Rs to sign on of course, because it was only ever going to be enforced against anti-abortion protesters.

Agree it was dumb. For generations now the red team has been so focused on the past they don’t realize how the goals of protests and protesters have changed.

Can someone familiar with protests please tell me the point of protesting against Drumpf in the Seattle area?
Kamala Harris got over 73% of the vote in King County. Nobody here likes Trump, we get it. They should go protest in Kentucky or something.

People living in Seattle should go to Kentucky to protest?

It's crazy to me that there are cesspools in this world where your opinions are validated.

What is the primary goal of a protest?
I would say it’s to influence/mobilize voters.

I agree with you. The protesters are preaching to the choir in areas where their views are the same as everyone else’s. At that point it just a case of them wanting attention for “protesting.” They’re not making anyone think about voting issues that way. Those people are already going to vote the way the protesters want them to.
