Wonderfully dumb and ridiculous in all the right ways. Russell Crowe does most of the heavy lifting. I would watch a series of movies with him playing this character. The Hercule Poirot of exorcisms.
Hilarious things about this movie:
- Russell Crowe riding his little Vespa
- The way that lady straight-up explodes
- It was literally made by a Jesuit production company

It feels like it was written by someone convinced that heaven and hell are real, and directed by someone convinced that they're not

Imagine how successful the movie would have been if they used that image for the poster.

Natural Born Killers seemed like it was a cool movie when I was a kid, but I never saw it. Is it actually bad?

It's... okay. Very edgy and charmless, but not as terrible as some would have you believe. Apparently Tarantino hates it more than any other film, and Harrelson considers it a career misstep. Dang.

I happen to think Juliette Lewis kinda rules, so there's also that.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Final twelve movies from 2015 on my list are:

The Lobster, Carol, Green Room, Brooklyn, Victoria, The Gift, Dope, Trumbo, Far From The Madding Crowd, McFarland USA, Room and Spotlight.

Have only seen the last two before.

Remember it was a big deal when it came out. Everyone was talking about it. Not a great movie though.
