Far from the Madding Crowd

Usually enjoy Thomas Vinterberg movies, so fairly optimistic about this one.

To Catch A Killer.
Strong contender for movie of the year. Brilliant. Gorgeous photography and framing. Violent, sad, existential. Both of the leads are great but damn Ben, Damn.
Can’t wait to see it again on a big screen, and please give Szifron the next season of True Detective.

Never heard of this before looking for good movies for 2015, but it’s highly rated everywhere. Hopefully I’ll enjoy it.

Watched The Pope's Exorcist last night with my parents. It was ok. A little boring, but Russell Crowe was really good. I love him.

I’m partially through this piece of shit. He rides his scooter from Rome to Spain? That’s like 20 hours.

The movie is really boring when it tries to be a Dan Brown like Vatican conspiracy mystery. It becomes long, tedious expository scenes (not to mention the troubling implications thereof). But when it's Russell Crowe and his plucky Spanish sidekick vs. the devil, it gets really fun. I'm glad I watched it
