The only two phone numbers I know by memory are my current one and my wife's current one. Wild to me that you still know your childhood phone number

I remember mine as well. Even the two different area codes.

I guess it was etched on my mind at an impressionable age. The only other number I know is my grandmother's, but it never changed.

I still remember quite a few numbers from my youth.

Yeah it's this. It's because you used to have to remember it to give it out (to friends!) and fill out various forms.

Phone numbers I know by heart:

my childhood phone number from more than twenty years ago
my mom's work number from twenty years ago
my childhood best friend's home number (actually still his parent's number)
my ex-girlfriend's cell number (still her number, but we broke up over ten years ago)
my current cell phone number
my mom's current cell phone number

Current cell
Wife's cell
Best friend's cell

That's all I got. Oh! And Pizza Shuttle

oh yeah, I guess I know my current office number because I tell people how to call us back a couple times day

Haha we had a Pizza Shuttle on speed dial in college too.

When I was growing up - our phone numer was 3 didgits for a while

I have like 7-8 numbers memorized. My dad's cell is still on a post-it note on the back of a cabinet door in my parent's kitchen. It's been hanging there for probably 30 years.

I do not know my girlfriend's phone number. I have the vague notion that there are more than 2 sevens in the back half. Let me check

Growing up in a rural area, there was a like 20 mile square radius where everyone's number stated with the same three digits. You could call those numbers with just the last four numbers.
