I get a 6 pack of bottles for 8.99

I like the 4 pack cans but they are harder to find around here.
I think it's like 9.99 here. Bell's stuff used to be a few bucks more expensive but they all dropped several months back.

I've been getting into sours quite a bit lately. I've found several things that I am liking, but being a new direction for me I'm also looking for recommendations.

Which ones have you been drinking?

I'm not a huge authority on sours, but I can point you to what I personally like. Typically I like the tart but mediums and light bodied stuff. Wild Ales and Berliner Weisses, Goses, things like that. The word "sour" is such a catch all for a complex style and process.

Here's a few that are available in multiple states across the country year round that I like:

Goose Island Lolita
Destihl Here Goes Nothin'
Epic Brainless Raspberries
Professor Fritz Berliner Weisse

Of course Jester King too, but that's another conversation altogether.

I've been drinking a lot of local stuff. We have some good breweries in Minneapolis. Just starting to branch out. I've had all of these in the last week or so.

Fair State - Roselle
Indeed Brewing Co. - Lucy Session Sour
Dogfish Head - Sea Quench
funkwerks - Raspberry Provincial
Odell Brewing - Zard~Alu
Odell Brewing - PiƱa Agria

Anyone familiar with oat wines? I reckon it's like a barley wine with a more oat heavy malt bill. St. Arnold just released one aged in Whistle Pig barrels as part of their ongoing barrel series and I'm very curious about it. Word on the street is that it tastes sort of like a Little Debbie cookie.

It doesn't really taste like Little Debbie, doug. The beer blog I read has a writer who can't find another way than that to say "oat, raisin and a touch of vanilla smoothness."

I'm drinking it for myself now and I'm pleasantly surprised at how much I like this in the Texas heat.
