Congrats to the University of Alabama QB Bryce Young for winning the 2021 Heisman trophy.

Is it just me or was this one of the weakest years for the Heisman?

Probably. This whole season in general was a little odd with so few dominant teams.

A WR did win last year. He also played for the University of Alabama.

Young wasn’t even the most deserving on his own team, let alone the country.

Since Omicron is blowing up with the Bowls right around the corner…
If a playoff team cannot field a team for the first round game they must forfeit, the game will not be moved. If both teams cannot play then the other game will decide the national champion. For the Championship game if one team is unavailable then the game can be delayed as far as January 14 before forfeiture. If both teams are unavailable the championship will be vacated for the season.
Texas A&M has had to withdraw from the Gator Bowl because of covid.

All these bowl games getting cancelled and/or teams dropping out…
Is there even one single player who is actually sick and physically unable to play?

As I watch 0regon get their asses handed to them tonight, it occurs to me that the players all just have their mouth guards just dangling from their face masks during the game. Like, what is the fucking point?
It also reminds me of a play in high school where the other team’s running back juked me out of my pants and scored a long touchdown but it got called back due to an “equipment violation” for him not having his mouth guard in
