Ok, ok i apologize...but im sure you post there loving the movies anyway. The Thor movie or something like that.
The first Thor movie was cool. I didn't see the second one. And the third one looks really fun. But it might be awful. Really, I think the best Marvel movie so far has been Dr. Strange. Which is the one everybody hates!
You take that back. Taika Waititi is going to give us a good movie.
Fingers crossed.
I have complete faith in Taika!
Do not underestimate the crushing weight of the Marvel machine
I'd give you that if the trailers didn't look and sound like a Taika movie.
Honestly the whole movie would be +1'ed if they all adopted a Kiwi accent too.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I don't know if you saw the big news about Moviepass today. Previously a $40/month service that allowed you to go to as many movies as you want, they announced today that they were lowering the price to just under $10/month for still unlimited movies (max 1 per day). Pretty amazing deal. The participating theatres are pretty extensive, and include most of the major chains. It pays for itself if you go to just one movie a month. The app and website have been down pretty much all day it's been so popular.
AMC Theatres quickly reacted negatively, threatening to opt out of Moviepass.
This could be a game-changer for the whole industry if it sticks. disrupt
