Probably why she didn't mention the Knights of the Vale. After her talk with Jon post strategy meeting, she knew he'd play into Ramsay's hands one way or another, and a bail out plan would be needed.

This puts Jon in harm's way, of course, but he could just be a means to an end for Sansa. Her ultimate goal is to reinstate the Stark name at Winterfell, not Jon specifically. He's just a soldier to her.

Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Really enjoyed everything about tonight's episode, not just the plot, but the way the whole thing was put together as well.

I get that feeling as well. Trust is definitely going to be an issue between them. In the teaser for the season final they show Jon asking her to trust him.

But they also need to have an issue, if everything was fine and wonderful it would be one boring narrative arc.

Was hoping to Ramsey make it until the final episodes of the series

As soon as the phalanx set up, it was pretty clear that we were in for the charge of the Vale cavalry--this is an old, tired-out trope, but the storytelling and weight of the entire battle were so well done that I wasn't even mad. Even though I was sure Jon would make it out alive, the him-getting-trampled scene was rife with tension. Not for nothing, but Rickon ends up being one of the saddest character arcs of the entire series: even when he was a little boy, he was the "weird," "wild" Stark brother, and he spent a few years traipsing through the woods with a smelly wildling only to watch his dog get killed, be taken prisoner, and then shot in the back without ever getting to say a fucking word. Yikes.

I'm not even going to try and predict what will happen next week, as each and every storyline could come to 100 different conclusions. For what I hope to see: I hope we see the Others in the final hour (maybe south of the wall?) so that the ultimate stakes of the final "split" season are really felt; I hope we get some more of the Brotherhood; and I hope Walder Frey gets it.

There was no point in reintroducing Littlefinger besides bringing in the Vale army to save the day, but it was cool to see them under his sigil.

The scene really gives great depth to the Sansa character and illustrates the effect of her tutalege under Littlefinger vs. Jon's under Ned. She knew he would blindy do the 'right thing' once Ramsay taunted him and so she realized that to beat Ramsay she had to become him and use Jon as bait exactly how Ramsay used Rickon as bait (culmintating in feeding her enemy to the dogs). She has transformed from the 'most annoying on the show' to one with a multitude of possibilities and it's been very cool to watch.

I definitely think the last scene of the season will be White Walkers south of the wall. But before then we will see (all guesses) Margery's plan come to fruition (Mountain rampage kills High Sparrow?), Dany sailing with Dothraki across the sea, and Cersei winning at her trial... because there must be a scene with her standing opposite Dany and Tyrion.

Great episode. Rivals many films. That scene where Jon is almost buried alive. Incredible. Some of the battle scenes were shot in a manner that I've never seen before. Reminded me of saving private ryan's opening scene in that I was at the edge of my seat even though I was sure of the outcome. Bravo. And those dragons finally got to light things up.
