Loved it.

His work really shows in that sequence where they were landing where it was dark and rainy. Most movies that would have just been too dark to see, but not the way he did it

Yes, I thought the same thing. So many directors in films and on TV do not know how to properly film dark scenes.

It is rather odd that the Empire stores the plans on a disc pack the size of an old cassette recorder, while the Rebellion is able to condense it down to something Smaller than a floppy disc.
