Dog Day Afternoon. Pacino sure can command the screen.

It was interestiing. Not sure it fully managed to do what it set out to do. Felt like it went in one direction, then another. Both personal and also this grand sci-fi story.
I'm sure.
Loys of people dying in South Korea, because two people in the US are going through a bunch of personal problems (even abuse).

Personal Shopper

«A personal shopper in Paris refuses to leave the city until she makes contact with her twin brother who previously died there. Her life becomes more complicated when a mysterious person contacts her via text message.»

This was the last movie I added, just a few weeks ago. Hope it’s good.

Felt like it could have been really good, but failed to do so. Characters too flat, themes too many (alcoholism, abuse, relationships/love, friendships - supporting cast), personal growth, the monsters), the whole people dying in Seoul because of their personal problems issue. Could have been more dreamy or on a higher level, but instead it’s just straight forward matter of fact, characters not changing or evolving at all, some just cardboard versions of people.

Final movie of the weekend coming up. Feel like I’m on a good run now, and that the best is yet to come.

Gold

«Kenny Wells, a prospector desperate for a lucky break, teams up with a similarly eager geologist and sets off on a journey to find gold in the uncharted jungle of Indonesia.»

Not expecting too much.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

That's on Peacock now. I had it on for 10 minutes or so to see if it's worth a shot. I'm always up for Woody Harrelson, so may get to this. I didn't realize she's in it until then.
