YHF and Sky Blue Sky are quintessential Wilco albums. I put them above all others, almost to the exclusion of the others.

I actually listened to YHF and loved it. Or at least I think so because I'm not listening to it anymore. Either way, the ending of Poor Places is fantastic.

I would agree, I simply can't rate them as elite. Axl Rose's voice is just too similar to Dan McCafferty(Nazareth), so similar I knock him down a few pegs for blatantly copying.

I see why so many people hate Morrison but they were great. He took himself very seriously or maybe not at all, who knows?

The older I get, the more I think the Doors are absolutely amazing. Musically, they were doing great stuff. Morrison's lyrics are dopey but who cares? He had a great voice. Almost all rock lyrics are dopey, may as well go for broke. They're fine in context.
