I do think the whole thing would have been cooler on the Wookie planet, though. But, again, I like Ewoks.

Ewoks don't bug me too much, except when they killed that walker with the logs. That shit was just dumb.
The space battle in jedi is the best if the series, though.

The more I think about it, the more I think John Williams is the single most important factor to the magic of SW.

I'm surprised you had to think about it, though.LoathedVermin72 wrote:The more I think about it, the more I think John Williams is the single most important factor to the magic of SW.

Yeah, I always thought it was basically understood that Williams and Ben Burtt were the real MVPs.

Backspacer is to Pearl Jam as what the prequels are to Star Wars.E.H. Ruddock wrote:sureLoathedVermin72 wrote:how about backspacerE.H. Ruddock wrote:guys talk about something other than Star Wars all the time

Backspacer doesn't have anything as good as Darth Maul or Jar-Jar, thoughdarth_vedder wrote:Backspacer is to Pearl Jam as what the prequels are to Star Wars.E.H. It's probably the moment that the score kicked in during the first teaser trailer that wiped the prequels from my mind.LoathedVermin72 wrote:The more I think about it, the more I think John Williams is the single most important factor to the magic of SW.
Although he did score the prequels. So there's limits to what he can do

Yeah, and his score in the prequels is amazing and by far the best part of those movies.stip wrote:It's probably the moment that the score kicked in during the first teaser trailer that wiped the prequels from my mind.LoathedVermin72 wrote:The more I think about it, the more I think John Williams is the single most important factor to the magic of SW.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (2015)
I think I'd rather listen to Backspacer for 24 hours than to sit through the lifeless, soulless, stiff, boring, fake looking prequels again. The only way I watch the prequels now is like this:LoathedVermin72 wrote:Backspacer doesn't have anything as good as Darth Maul or Jar-Jar, thoughdarth_vedder wrote:Backspacer is to Pearl Jam as what the prequels are to Star Wars.E.H.
