Blue Jay

«Meeting by chance when they return to their tiny California hometown, two former high-school sweethearts reflect on their shared past.»

First time seeing this. Fairly short movie. Hopefully good.

Something very familiar with Blue Jay, feel like I’ve seen it before.

I've been wanting to re-visit Bresson, and the fact that I don't know if this is a reference to a line in the movie or a genuine feeling that you're expressing about yourself tells me that perhaps now is the time for me to begin that re-visit

Well, it was the thirteenth last movie, so 7 and 6 either way, if you include that one.

There was something about the start of Blue Jay that was very familiar, but I’ve not seen the movie before. After about 10-15 minutes it was all new to me. Maybe I once saw the first scene, thinking about seeing something on netflix back in 16-17.

I enjoyed the movie. Really just two people talking about life, love and memories. More emotional and deep as it progressed.

It's movie night at my parents house - this week we're watching The Eagle has Landed.

Great cast. I'm really enjoying it so far.

Watching Rogue One. Certainly not for the first time, but I love this movie.
