Too many words. Figure the album title will be 1-2 words, tops: Ten, Vs. Vitalogy, No Code (2!), Yield, Binaural, Riot Act (2!), Pearl Jam (really no words), Backspacer, Lightning Bolt (2!), Gigaton.
Even the comps aren’t long names: Lost Dogs (2!), PJ20, Rearviewmirror

The album cover is X rated so it is taking longer to get approved by the government.

We have our first child coming in March. Sure could use new tracks to keep my spirits high while i'm cleaning up poppy butts in the middle of the night.

It’s January 2nd, 2024. It’s incredible that we’re waiting for news about a new Pearl Jam album at all. And it’s not some backwards-looking, “see, we’ve still got it” one-off reunion album. Or like, 2 original members plus some hired hands.
It’s very possibly the last time you’ll ever experience the anticipatory wait for a newly finished but not-yet-released Pearl Jam album. That is just one of the many journeys that have defined your life, but are locked into a process of forever ending. Death approaches now, and at all times. Enjoy the new album. Congratulations on the baby. Happy new year.

i feel bad for Boom
i understand Dave A exclusion
but if anyone should be excluded from this recording session, it should be Jeff
Boom’s oven mitts can cover those root notes
i certainly hope PJ still offers Boom health insurance during these down times

I totally agree. I felt this way when Gig came out (can't believe they're still writing and releasing new music). So that fact that we're "lucky" in this regard is not lost on me.
My comment was mostly in jest, but I am of course, very eager to hear some new tracks.
On the other hand, some comments from them make me think they'll just keep going until they drop.
