We can judge and second guess whatever job.. doctors, professional sports coaches, cops..Mickey wrote:Actually only cops can judge cops.i got bugs wrote:Maybe he was right in shooting him, maybe he was wrong.. but ultimately none of us were ever in his situation so its easy to sit on rm n say what he should have done
Yeah murder is insane, maybe take his badge.. the vid I watched cut out the actual shooting, was it actually taped n cut out for not showing violence on fb or does it not exist??B wrote:I'm pretty fuckin far to the left. The Argonaut wrote:even you, radical that you areB wrote:Even I think murder is overreach in this case.
But you see where this argument leads, no?i got bugs wrote:We can judge and second guess whatever job.. doctors, professional sports coaches, cops..Mickey wrote:Actually only cops can judge cops.i got bugs wrote:Maybe he was right in shooting him, maybe he was wrong.. but ultimately none of us were ever in his situation so its easy to sit on rm n say what he should have done
But since we've never been in their shoes, none of us are experts on the matter
First off, I feel you are missing the entire point of what is going on. The issue is that lethal force was both an option in this case and was utilised. I think that needs to be addressed first of all. Like Rob said - he was running away and shot in the fucking back.i got bugs wrote:Yeah murder is insane, maybe take his badge.. the vid I watched cut out the actual shooting, was it actually taped n cut out for not showing violence on fb or does it not exist??B wrote:I'm pretty fuckin far to the left. The Argonaut wrote:even you, radical that you areB wrote:Even I think murder is overreach in this case.
Its a slippery slope.. he gets charged with murder.. some cops definitely need to show restraint but others who may actually need to use lethal force will hold back n that may lead to people dying because they didnt do enough
i got bugs wrote:Is it possible he was coming at him and turned last second as opposed to running away?? Like I said I didn't see that part with the video
C'mon man.i got bugs wrote:To clarify I get it some cops are dicks but this whole war on cops is kinda outta hand and could lead to disaster
Going to the beach this weekend.. last weekend a mix of baltimore ghetto people and senior weekers created havoc.. there was huge 20+ people brawls, 2 stabbings, and 3 stores held at gunpoint.. the first thing you hear is, 'where are all the cops'.. im kinda hoping all the shit is died out by when I get there, but when it comes down to it I'm kinda counting on the police to keep some sense of order, which can't happen if they're in fear of doing their jobs
Well I mean if we're making assumptions the cop shot strictly because he was racist there's no reason we can't make assumptions on how it all played outMickey wrote:i got bugs wrote:Is it possible he was coming at him and turned last second as opposed to running away?? It is what it is.. thats the general consensus I'm getting basically everywhere I'm reading anywaysMickey wrote:C'mon man.i got bugs wrote:To clarify I get it some cops are dicks but this whole war on cops is kinda outta hand and could lead to disaster

Pretty much the assumption I'm seeing everywhereMickey wrote:But no one has made the assumption that it was "strictly because he was racist." That kind of A-to-B causality only happens in after school specials.

Houston Police said a black teenage boy was found hanged outside an elementary school, reported the Houston Chronicle.
The boy was found in a remote corner on Ehrhardt Elementary School property in Spring, and Harris County sheriff’s deputies are investigating as a suicide.
