The Cure played Roskilde Festival on July 6th, 2019 and also on July 5th 2012.
2019 was the seventh time the band played the festival and not sure that there is any other annual festival that the band have played so much? Robert played there for the first time with Siouxsie and the Banshees in 1983, with The Cure playing for the first time in 1985. The 1989 show kicked off The Prayer Tour and was promoted by Roskilde Festival as 'Roskilde Spring Special'.
The band's show was cancelled in 2000 after 8 people died in a crush during Pearl Jam's set. The Cure were due to take the stage after Pearl Jam but cancelled in ''respect for the dead''. They returned to headline the 2001 Festival, their only show of that summer.
The video is from after their July 5th show in 2012, they came off stage at midnight so this clip is also from July 6th!
