i mean, maybe. so much in CFB is prestige, based on past accomplishments and the inner workings behind those accomplishments.

Weird comment to make immediately after the CFP brings in an AAC team and they get absolutely fucking demolished while the Big 10 champ eats shit again. There's obviously bias towards power five conferences, towards the SEC in particular, and towards schools like Alabama such that success begets (at least more opportunities for) success, but it's hard to make a case that anyone else should be there after yesterday's results.

I'm saying I think Georgia and Alabama more or less earned it, and the always present "maybe" factor in a four team subjectively ranked playoff is more reduced than in previous years.

But a bigger complaint is why is the title game played on a Monday? That’s dumber than Super Bowl Sunday.
And to answer an earlier post of mine yes, the championship site is now bid on like a Super Bowl. The next two are in Miami/Ft Lauderdale and Las Vegas.

The problem I have with the game is that it’s so far removed from the other bowl games it seems like an afterthought. it’s hard to get excited for it.
