Speak for yourself. Force Awakens was copy of a star wars movie that already exists. Nothing original to talk about.

I'll be talking about this long after having forgotten TFA

Spoiler: show
they go in for a Landing on Eadu flying perilously near rocks and crash land just across from the base *but nobody on the platform sees or hears them*
Kinda like The Falcon gets pulled into the Death Star. Han knocks out or kills the scanning crew & stormtrooper they call up to give them a hand and they steal their uniforms. What did they do with the bodies??

I do love Star Wars hey don't look at that! Look over here!!

Empire Magazine said Rogue One is "full of truly surprising twists."

Were there ANY twists in this movie?

Nobody been able to figure out what the SW0608 reference is about. It's the cargo shuttle they sneak in on.

Star Wars 6 is Jedi. Star Wars 8 is unnamed.

7 is force awakens.

What does it all mean??

B??

dime, do you take off a couple weeks of work after every SW movie so you can post in this forum without interruption?

Spoiler: show
Rogue One is a darker movie with more suspense, scarier villains and more meaningful deaths (yeah, I felt worse when the droid was gunned down slowly vs. the Han death).

Me too. I was immediately sad when K2 goes whereas Han was shock. Later sadness.

I do wonder will this film affect how 8 is put together? It's probably locked already given Williams is scoring already. But still
Spoiler: show
See, I totally expected Han to die. There wasn't much suspense - even the going back and forth, it was fairly easy to guess. With K2, while we knew he (and the rest) would go down, that droid was providing vital last minute instructions that meant something to the rebellion, whereas Han was an old man who needed to go down at some point.
Spoiler: show
The way they do it though. They go back to him for two shots and he's in worse shape each time. The final shot is heartbreaking.
I find this reply vague and unconvincing

That's a great line :) K2 is gold. I'm gonna buy the black series edition. It's like €30 but he's worth it.
The character was fine (didn't love him but he was pretty good). The death was very well done, however. I did think the 'I can't get a gun' stuff was silly. Why wouldn't they give him a gun? Felt like a forced running gag to set up a superficially meaningful moment with the two later on.

Funny you ask. I haven't had any work in about three weeks. Kinda climbing the walls.
Can't make people hire me. Star Wars is the bubble I head into to not think about it.

I knew it was coming too, but when that lightsaber lit up, I audibly gasped.
I wish that I had that same reaction, but the scene didn't work for me because the death was "too clean." Had Kylo toyed with him, tortured him a bit, sliced an arm off or two, and then finished him off...now that would have caused the shock and awe I was looking for.
Except Kylo didn't want to kill him, and felt horrible about it afterwards. The emotional impact of the exchange comes from the fact that none of it needed to happen, as Ren is trapped in a story he doesn't really believe in
