I’ve been looking forward to seeing it. If it hadn’t been for my - watch one year at a time - project still going on, I already would have. But now I’m trying to create a 2020s collection for when I get there in a few months.

please guys, stop buying blue ray of movies like Cocaine Bear

Stream them for free and then decide if you want to keep them in another format.

Cocaine Bear isn't my kind of movie, but I did think the kid from Sweet Tooth was excellent and very funny in it

Hook

Saw it was the anniversary. Any excuse to watch Robin Williams.

There’s so much love in this.

And the couple missing on the bridge in London as tink takes Peter back to neverland, are George Lucas and Carrie Fisher.

She worked on the script.

This wasn’t great. Like a low budget version of Alien, with lesser action.

The 2018 Icelandic film Woman at War is playing on Mubi right now. Highly recommended, it's really good

Did you mean to post that in a different thread?

Sam Fuller, baby. I watched eleven Sam Fuller movies when I was in college (or shortly thereafter). He was a really important guy to me. But that was a long time ago and maybe there's a tendency to think I loved him less for his movies than because Godard put him in my beloved Pierrot le fou, or because my beloved Jim Jarmusch counts him as a mentor.

But, no. The guy is just tremendous. Tonight, I watched a Sam Fuller western I'd never seen before, Run of the Arrow. I get why it's not at the top of any list of great westerns, but it's so weird and goes to such unexpected places that I truly did love it. Sam Fuller really was doing wild things, with power and confidence, in a way no one else did them. He was singular.

Also, Charles Bronson plays the Sioux chief and is shirtless and terrifically beautiful throughout. Like, holy shit. The perfect male torso, Charles Bronson
