Goals 1 & 3 last night were amazing.
Honest/earnest question, do the leafs have a line & pairing that they'll matchup against the Bs #1 line now that TOR gets last change?

They did, until the most important member of that line squished Wingels's head.

I see. Not that the Bs don't have their share of stupid plays over the years... but Kadri's hit was pretty stupid.

It was. It was frustrating, too, because he was actually trying to stand up for Marner after Wingels elbowed him in the face, but it was such a stupid way to go about it.

I'm cheering for the Wild but I don't know if they can do it.

Also Breakerfall > Gods' Dice > Evacuation is a great opening run.
The best.

Pretty awesome story. Consider Winnepeg (formerly Atlanta) That franchise went to the playoffs once prior to this season in 21 years and promptly got swept in that appearance.
Coming out of nothing, this is spectacular.

Tuukka was great last night. I'm pretty optimistic about Saturday night (even more so if Bergeron plays).
Assuming no 37, I wonder if Cassius would roll out:
Pasta/Backes/March
Debrusk/Krejci/Nash
Donato/Kuraly/Heinen
Schaller/Nash/Wingels
I'm thinking this 3rd line would be one of the fastest the Bs have had in a while.

the leafs biggest problem is phil kessel isnt producing anywhere close to his 1.2 million payroll hit

Yeah, I haven't looked up the details, but I'm thinking it's safe to say Toronto got the worse end of both trades involving Kessel.
And the Tuukka trade is comical.
