Eddie Vedder - Earthling

When a band is but a fraction of Pearl Jam, but they aren't zero Pearl Jam.

That’s an honest question.

My instincts say not typically.
He isn't having fun in a ya ya yea&hh aw way. It's more of a cross between a wise smart ass wizard and drunkle other wise known as drunk uncle. Also through in a progressive insurance commercial about not becoming your parents.
He is very authentic that is why the bit of cheese is pleasing. He is taking down the walls and being himself or at least it feels that way. It is on some level enduring.
That I can get in to.

Invincible was a pleasant surprise and a pleasure on first listen. Off to a solid start.

If you aren't turned off by Invincible then im guessing you'll probably be really pumped about this release by the end of the record.

I’m not sure it will have any staying power for me. I kinda liked Let the Records Play the first few times I heard that too. Lol

On to track 2

Power of Right has some nice spots and some sections that I’ll need to listen to a few more time to see how I feel about them.

Hypnotized blood shot eyes and he's begging for more!

Love the way he delivers that.

Long Way sounds like a Petty song.

I may not love it, but I like this one quite a bit.

I liked the lyrics a lot, and the verse sections were great on first listen. I think there are a few sections with some challenging chords or something that just need a bit more attention than a first listen judgement.
