My work VPN works a million times better than any public VPN I've ever tried, but I can't get a good stream regardless.

Good thing the Tigers traded away Doug Fister so they could free up some money to solidify their bullpen.

But they threw that money at Joe Nathan. Dave Dombrowski acted like they were only a closer away.

To be fair, Joe Nathan was fantastic in 2013.

Joe Nathan isn't the problem. Ausmus's insistence on using him strictly in a closer's role has been a problem (among others).

Am I an asshole because I don't think it's necessary to stand, salute, or take your hat off during "God Bless America"?

I don't feel like I should have to either, but it makes you look like a domestic terrorist now.

Chud is indoors, watching pirated feeds of games that he has purchased both cable tv and a streaming service to watch legally.

What happened? I remember Carlos Delgado refused to stand for it shortly after 9/11 and it was a pretty big deal.

Nothing happened, I was just thinking about it as they played it during the Nats/Giants game. We're at the point now where people think any song with the word "America" in it at a ball game demands solemn reverence, not just the national anthem. And yeah, if you don't stand and de-cap, you're basically the devil.

Still don't understand why we sing the national anthem during sporting events. Why not before movies?

This Royals outfield is a lot of fun to watch.
