Real me by the who. The bass is almost like a second vocal at points
That's not really what I meant. I meant more like:

I kinda like the vocals for Silversun Pickups, but the music is so fucking derivative and uninspired, it's unlistenable.

The more I watch early Smashing Pumpkins performances, the more convinced I am that James and D'arcy's secondary role was to play the parts competently, and their main role was to look cool. I am OK with that.

Kind of on that, I think I recall Billy saying that, even when they weren't contributing very much musically, James and especially D'arcy played quite a significant role as a quality filter for what songs made the records, what lyrics they didn't like, etc.

Barbra Streisand's debut album is called The Barbra Streisand Album. Her second album is called The Second Barbra Streisand Album. Her third album is called The Third Album.

I liked them at first but they never really went anywhere.

How do you listen to My Bloody Valentine? It's just not consistent. It's not relaxing so I can't read/work and listen to it. It's not upbeat so I can't listen to it while exercising. It's just...drone. What mindspace do I need to be in here?

They have some good songs but the drone stuff is beyond me. I keep feeling like the music is building to go somewhere but it doesn't, kind of like that thing that Zimmer used in Dunkirk.

Garth Brooks authoring autobiography spanning 5 booksWhat the hell. Is there a book about his rise to stardom, a book about first wife, a book about cheating on her, a book about touring with his new wife, and a book about the big ass break he took?

Sounds to me like it's going to cover most of his career. So we're probably getting in depth behind the scenes looks at the songwriting and recording processes.

Clicked to see if one of them was "authored" by Chris Gaines. Disappointed.

Though, I would absolutely read an entire book about that little side project.
