And I want Ahsoka to be there, too.

I guess the prequels were sort of a win for the dark side (correct me if i'm wrong as i only saw them once,) with the original trilogy going to the white hats.
So seeing as how the eastern philosophy that seems to permeate Star Wars is all about balance, i think this thing is somehow going to come down in the middle.
I think it will be some kind of victory for "the force," which isn't good or bad.
It just is.
Could be neat. Also kind of ties into the Plagueis book where he was saying the Force didn't appreciate their meddling and that's what created Anakin. But that's not canon anymore so who knows.

We know that big force tree with the altar in it gets burned.
Kylo again or luke destroying it to prevent kylo and snoke learning its secrets?

He's always flirted with the dark a little bit. Force choking the guards in jabbas palace for example.

Hope he goes full tilt in that and uses the best elements from both sides.

That would explain so much and seems to be hinted at in the trailer. Plus it finally gets rid of the rather boring Jedi sith binary.

Im brain dead today. I wrote out a couple posts and ended up deleting both.

basically: Im super excited about this living in the grayness of the force. What is good? what is bad? what is moral? what is immoral? And I now know why Joey is super fucking thrilled about this potentiality in star wars.

No I don't!
I'm loving this if they do it.
Fandom in general is going through a civil war about the term grey Jedi alone and that luke has gone off the reservation.

I'm up for it.

I loved this book. Such a shame they excluded it from the canon. It really should've been titled The Rise of Palpatine or Darth Sidious, though.

I like the idea of there not being "Good" or "Evil" with these upcoming movies.

Yeah, there was a LOT more Sheevy in the book than should have been, really. Why aren't we privy to the machinations of the title character? That's so ridiculous.

Someone noticed that long shot of Rey training with the lightsaber and Luke looking down on her is actually reversed in the trailer. So they're coming out of the dark.

Can you imagine how the internet would have melted down if it played the right way?

Yeah, I posted about that like 25 pages ago. You didn't seem to think it was all interesting then.

Yeah. Don't worry about it. It only comes out at night.
I'll try avoid stinking the place up with it.
