Spent about an hour gathering tree limbs/ sticks that had blown down into the yard over the weekend. I’m finishing up, walking back down the driveway to the back of the house and for some reason I looked up and saw a fucking huge limb perfectly balanced on the roof by the gutter. Knowing it really shouldn’t be up there any longer I dragged out the 12ft ladder and proceeded to dislodge it from the roof while keeping it from falling back thru a window. At least now I know the weight of it won’t rip my gutter off.

I wasn't planning on going but they offered to put us on the guest list so I'll be there too

Jorge was ecstatic when he found out that his good friend Mark had become the tour manager for Hayley Williams, the lead singer of his all-time favorite band, Paramore. Mark had invited him to the concert, and Jorge couldn't have been more excited. But then Mark asked him for a favor.

"Hey man, do you know where I can get some edibles?" Mark asked.

Jorge did know. He had a trusty source that always had the best stuff. He quickly made a call and arranged to pick up the edibles before the concert.

As he was waiting for his hookup, he checked the message boards to see if anyone else was going to the concert. That's when he saw a post from someone called "VinylGuy" saying that he was also going and would be happy to meet up with anyone else from the board. Jorge messaged him, and they arranged to meet before the concert.

When they met up, VinylGuy seemed like a cool guy, and they quickly struck up a conversation. Jorge couldn't help but share his excitement about meeting Hayley Williams backstage at a previous concert.

"I was so nervous, man," Jorge said. "I mean, I've been a fan for years, and suddenly I was face to face with her. I couldn't think of anything to say."

VinylGuy laughed. "Yeah, I know the feeling. What did you end up saying?"

"I told her that I loved her music, and then I asked her if she wanted to smoke some weed with me."

VinylGuy burst out laughing. "Dude, that's hilarious! What did she say?"

Jorge sighed. "She politely declined, but then she said that she appreciated the offer."

As they continued chatting, Jorge felt his nerves building up again. He couldn't believe he was going to see Hayley Williams again, and this time he had the edibles. He was determined to make a better impression.

After the concert, Jorge and VinylGuy went to the afterparty, where they saw Hayley Williams mingling with fans. Jorge couldn't believe his luck when she came over to them.

"Hey guys, how are you doing?" she said with a smile.

Jorge tried to keep his cool. "We're doing great, thanks. How about you?"

"I'm good," Hayley replied. "I'm glad you guys could make it to the party."

Jorge's mind went blank. He couldn't think of anything else to say, so he blurted out the first thing that came to mind.

"We brought you some edibles," he said, holding out the bag.

Hayley looked surprised but then burst out laughing. "Wow, you guys really know how to party!"

Jorge felt relieved that he had made her laugh, but then he accidentally spilled his drink all over her shoes.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry!" he exclaimed, trying to clean up the mess.

Hayley just laughed it off. "Don't worry about it, Jorge. It's just a pair of shoes."

VinylGuy couldn't resist chiming in. "Yeah, and we brought you some edibles to make up for it!"

Hayley rolled her eyes but still seemed amused. "You guys are something else," she said with a smile.

Jorge and VinylGuy left the party feeling embarrassed but also thrilled that they had gotten to talk to their favorite musician. They couldn't believe how lucky they were to have such a memorable night.

Seriously great show. I only knew like 5 of the songs, and the ones I didn't know weren't all my cup of tea, but they performed so well and at such a high level of energy that I couldn't help but enjoy myself. Hayley is unbelievable; I had seen videos and knew she was a dynamic performer but for some reason it's like I hadn't reconciled that image with the warm, unassuming, actually kinda quiet person that stood before me just a few hours prior. Once she was on stage, holy moly. She gave it her all. Very impressed
