I couldn't believe how fast this went...Usually I don't have issues with Soundgarden related releases at my local shops during RSD...this year, sadly that was not the case.

he was a part of Ten Commandos with Matt. I think that release was after In Deep Owl. He mention he might release a new Hater album but hasnt done it.

Ok so Layne Staley had a pretty unique voice, and the thought of AIC re-emerging without seemed bizarre. But they pulled it off and it turns out that Layne’s voice isn’t actually that hard to replicate.

But Chris Cornell ... nobody can replicate that. Nobody.

I doubt it will be under the name Soundgarden.

In any case, I get the sense that any future plans will likely act as a tribute to Chris and the band's back catalogue, and I am totally down with that.

I’m sure the name will largely be influenced by any lawsuits, and what they say about them using the Soundgarden moniker. Not that they would use it again. But the fact that they performed under NudeDragons with Chris causes concern for Vicki to try and block it, or get royalties.

I heard the Soup Dragons were ok giving them their name.
