I'm just now noticing that the force tree looks like that Jedi symbol we see in the book in the trailer ... was this covered 25 pages ago? Apologies if it was.

This is awesome. Trailer narrated by kylo instead of luke. And she has a red lightsaber

Im thinking it would be cool if this story is about Kylo coming to the light and Rey going to the dark side.

It's possible. But unlikely. In 8 at least. Far too soon for him to be redeemed or for her to turn. But it could happen in 9.

The story in 9 can go two ways. Wrap everything up tidy conclusion or, leave huge big wide opening for the next trilogy. And her going dark could be that.

I think he'll get redeemed in his final moments. But I can't see her going dark

i think they would nailed it if Rey goes dark...if she kills Luke or even Snoke.

I have a feeling it will be Kylo taking Snoke out. I don't know why.

I think it's one OT echo nobody would have a problem with would they?

My head canon imagined snoke attacking Leia or having her attacked and that's where kylo breaks and draws the line and kills him.

I would not at all be surprised to see an echo of Ob-Wan in Luke. Will not surprise me at all to see him sacrifice himself in front of Rey just like Obi-Wan did in front of Luke in ANH. I could see an exact replica of that scene. And I think if done properly, there wouldn't be a dry eye in the house.

I really don't think Luke bites it in this movie, though.
