Get an actual platform.
Anti illegal ICE raids and profiling
Pro choice
Pro first amendment
Anti 3 term presidents
Release the Epstein files
lower grocery and gas prices
Is that better?

Why do you hate Trump? Some of those aren't local.

You kinda proved my point.
Avg local voter: “Must vote for candidate who says trump is bad. That’s the only thing that matters.”

To be fair, 4 of the 6 have possible local solutions. Well, not solutions, but they could move the needle.

I think the larger picture fits in though. MAGA republicans aren't going to go against Trump until they feel it themselves. Locals start voting, then state houses change, which can eventually lead to things like big midterm losses for them. The MAGA brainwashing has reached local levels, at least where I live. There are local candidates that literally use Trump in their campaign ads. So of course people are going to factor that in.

The idea of a third presidential term seems pretty far fetched to me, however we all know you’d be all over it if it was one of your boyz trying to extend their stay to 12 years.
Obama *cough*

True. It is no more likely than Trump defunding Congressional legislature, killing foreign nationals without evidence, and holding American citizens in prison without charges.

A third term, yes. You’re correct. He’ll just continue the second term indefinitely, tho. There will be no 2028 presidential election. Unless he dies first.
And no, you’re wrong on your second point.

A gotcha-hypocrite hypothetical doesn't work as well when the time came and went and it didn't happen.

Results aren’t final yet but it’s looking like Seattle mayor was able to hold off our own local version of Mamdani to get re-elected, however, he had to reduce his campaign to “saving Seattle from Trump harm” in order to do it.
