You had me at Aaron Franklin. Lewis BBQ in Charleston, SC is also run by a Franklin protegee. The guy must be doing something right to inspire so many successful businessmen to open up shop around the country.
if any of you guys subscribe to Masterclass, there is a great aaron franklin class on there..cant remember how many parts or hours it is but

Smoked turkey is a really, really underrated choice on a standard three meat plate.

Everything on that tray is great, though I’ll take Joe’s burnt ends any day. Hidden under the bread slices are Twinkie’s. Their beans include bits of apple pie, which drew me in, but I’m almost certain they put apple cider vinegar in them to make em’ tangy.
