It was a great set.
That was the best nothingman I've ever heard. It had the intensity of Long Road in Chicago in 09.
Mind Your Manners was good, but Ed had some mic issues, so his frustration got in the way of its debut.
Ed made an audible and called off WWS. No idea why.
Daughter was fucked. Ed had no idea where he was. Stone just kept shrugging. I think that shit gets to him.
It was a great set. If i had one qualm, it was that it was only 30 songs. I know, I know, but they didn't go on until after 8, and they were done around 10:30. Ed needs to knock that shit off about curfew or having all night to play. It means nothing. To be fair, it was hot as hell in the building, and I am sure they were gassed.
and thats one of the most unreasonable complaints ive ever read
Great set... Loved PT as opener
The band sounded good overall
The first few songs, I couldn't really hear Mike, so not sure if there was an issue
Ed had a lot of feedback from his mic on MYM (this with Mike being really low made for an underwhelming debut.. But I thought Ed sounded good on it)
Daughter, it seems like they tried to play a re-worked version but then fucked it up and they sort of played it twice (without ever stopping it)
I didn't necessarily love the sound in that place, but it wasn't make or break
What's with the cheesy 80's video effects on the screens throughout the show??
But overall it was excellent. One of the better shows that I've seen in the last 7 or 8 years.

I expected a slightly longer show as well with a 8pm start time and being billed as "Evening with..." (also with one of the 30 was Lukin, which is like 45 seconds live) but this was the best PJ show I have seen since 2010. The band, Eddie esp, looked like they really wanted to be there. Wanted to play for the crowd. That makes up for having to suffer through another rendition of "Just Breathe".
One more note: I fucking love "Man of the Hour". I heard it several times in 2006 and it didn't really click with me, but I love that song now. I feel like it has gained meaning as the band has gotten older.
Hopefully the weather cooperates on Friday night (50% chance of t-storms) and we get something equally as good.

Yeah I thought that was terrific. PT is a great opener and it was such a nice surprise into nothing man. Sure it got predictable at times later but there was some great stuff (In Hiding, Parachutes). A lot of energy from both crowd and band.

I gotta be honest, besides for MYM, there is nothing new here. I can't be one of those pit people who gets excited about the order of the songs. There just reaching for something not there.

I apologize if this video has been posted already, but WOW! When the fuck did Eddie Vedder come back?!?! I haven't seen him be this genuinely into a song in YEARS. And finally he has written a new melody that he can actually sing. I fuckin love it!
*Goddammit I don't know how to use the YouTube embed code.

I have only watched the Mind Your Manners and Alone vids, and they are fuckin' great. I can only hope that there is more of this to come. I'm scared to watch the vids of most of the rest as I am pretty high right now on those 2.
I couldn't care less about the order of songs. Tight and passionate performances are the key.
