The most nu-metalish Deftones song that I remember was "Back to School"

I purposely didn’t include Morning View or White Pony songs because I thought those were after their bands’ Nu periods, but yeah, “Back to School” should probably be here

Did we ever talk about P.O.D. in this thread? Those dudes were nu-metal, yeah?

I’m adding Stellar, Toxicity, and Back to School.
Does everyone think I should add the Morning View and White Pony songs? Which would probably be Nice to Know You, Wish You were Here, Change, and maybe Passenger?

Was Passenger even popular or am I imagining that?

If there is a record scratching on a turntable and heavy guitar in the same song it's 100% nu metal

It wasn’t a single but it’s very popular among fans of Deftones and Tool/APC. It’s still in most Deftones setlists when they tour.
Why aren’t there any singles from Linkin Park’s 2nd album? Those were all huge, even the lesser known Lying From You went #1 in rock radio play.

It's jukebox popular because there are no tool songs on there

Like what? I don’t recognize any of those songs and they don’t seem very popular judging by YouTube views.

Linkin Park’s Numb and Somewhere I Belong need to be in, even though they suck.
Some of your picks like Disturbed - Stricken and Three Days Grace - Never Too Late seem to be from later on in their careers too.
Maybe swap those out for something off Disturbed’s 2nd album and “Just Like You” or “Home”?

Oh are those later? I tried to focus on stuff that was from before 2005. Isn’t Numb way newer than that?

Numb and Somewhere I Belong are 2003, the Disturbed song is 2005 and the Three Days Grace song is 2007 I think.
Disturbed’s 2nd album had Prayer, Remember and Liberate on the radio in 2002 in heavy rotation back then. Three Days Grace only had their one album in 2003 so those other songs are probably the only ones from them to qualify.

I might just be nitpicking but the only song I didn’t recognize was that Turn Me On Deadman thing.
I think Morning View should get Wish You Were Here in.
Some SOAD self titled recognition would be cool too.
