That whole episode was a MASSIVE nod to Lucas’ first film

I haven't watched it yet. But ep 6 & 7 (7 especially) set a pretty high bar. I can't even imagine how this show gets better than the last two.

It really does. Denise Gough (she’s Irish

) as the ISB agent is sooo cool. It looks like she’s a career ladder climber before this episode kidna. Not anymore!
Everything. Every element in this episode is what I want star wars to do and be like now.
Ahsoka and whatever other series are gonna have to be truly special at being ‘star wars’ as we know it. I’d be afraid for anything coming after this one.
It’s crazy people are sleeping on it.

I won't be afraid because the other shows aren't going to be anything like this. And that's okay.

Oh Different beasts completely.
That huge cohort out there that only love rogue one out of all the new films
I hope *theyre* seeing it.

Andor is a great show. But I do think it's interesting that the most vocal viewer is the 40-something white male viewer. This is "his" Star Wars. And that's great. But it's still interesting.

I’m not in the bubble any more so I ain’t tuned into what fandom is saying. The sw pods I listen to (with decreasing regularity) are loving it.
Random people on Twitter seem to love it and are saying people are missing out. It’s not Star Wars. Star Wars is just a backdrop.
I think this episode and the previous one changed that tbh
It’s complicated. And new. And that’s why I love it.

Yeah, I love it *in spite* of not being "Star Wars." This show is going to expand and change that definition and I'm here for it.
I did feel like ep 6 was maybe the "best" episode so far, but 7 was my favorite (again, I haven't watched 8 yet) because it felt the most "Star Wars" so far.
The show is really exceptional and I adore it. The quality is just outstanding. And I think that will stand the test of time.

In Star Wars terms, yes. But by like Mad Men terms, no. It's not slow. It's methodical and deliberate and it's taking it's time. This is not an action serial adventure like typical Star Wars. It's Tony Gilroy. It's Bourne Identity in space.

In an age where we’ve been engineered (in Star Wars too) to get instant gratification this is a completely new breath of fresh air. It’s a contemplative and far more nuanced and stylised Star Wars than you’ve ever seen.
I guarantee you’re gonna love it

I won't guarantee anything. But if you're a fan of Empire and Rogue One and also a fan of really thoughtful writing that's interested in character first drama, I don't know why you wouldn't think this is the best Star Wars tv show so far.

Not my fav episode. It was interesting enough.
But Not as good as the last two.
As much as I am loving Andor it’s nowhere near as good as Mando imho.
BOBF and obi-wan were fine for me and Andor is about the same

Gun to head, I'd probably say that Obi-Wan is my preferred series. But there are a lot of factors that go into that. I really do love Andor and I genuinely think it's the "best" of the series so far. But Obi-Wan was special and it really meant a lot to me.
Mando is fine -- I like most of it but it's pretty flat and obvious. Fett was super cool but uneven.

In simpler terms. It’s none of the bangs fizz bells and whistles of Star Wars.
It’s much more deep bass and slow drums building

I really enjoyed when Saw Gerrera was talking about the various rebel factions. Separatists, Human Only ect.....fascinating. The empire is super evil but the rebels aren't all unicorns and rainbows either. I think I could watch a whole show just about that prison.
