DOESNT sound like grievance but they are top shelf PJ.

the vocal layering is, to me, what sets it apart from LB / BS

Im glad he plays it straight. Thats why i get a "groove" vibe from it. The guitar is creating this bounce but the drums just kidn of keep it steady as it bops along.Ms Harmless wrote:there's a bit in the guitar riff with a duh-da-da, da, da, da... that gives it some rhythm, and I'm disappointed that Matt doesn't follow that with accents, he just plays it straightStrat wrote:There's a groove here too, which has been sorely lacking in recent albums

yeah, I respect that you like that; it's more REM than vintage PJ (where everything was accented, because Dave A)Strat wrote:Im glad he plays it straight. Thats why i get a "groove" vibe from it. Well I liked the snippet but please just release the damn thing. It reminded me more of Sad in the riff. The vocals sound layered like a Hitchhiker. So I guess I am agreeing with folks. It’s promising and a rock song but still much different to me than what they had been doing.

This sounds good.
It has a riff, it has a groove, & Eddie doesn't sound bad.
I like what I'm hearing so far

For the most part, yes. KidC and others have heard full tracks.Anders wrote:Is this all everyone has heard?wilkins wrote:https://moon.pearljam.com/sounds/moon_audio.mp3
Check it - here is what is the clever genius of the band. They have fans that span ages in their 20s to 60s. The way they’re rolling this out with augmented reality and just new technology in general is bringing fans together in a different aspect to play the clips or download an app to her the song. These guys released three videos for one song. That’s pretty neat coupled with new technology - sick dichotomy! I co-sign.
