In the midst of my virgin listen. So glad I waited for the high-resolution.
Should I hit the lights?

I'm not listening to hi-res, but I'm envious of your restraint -- I need to learn from my mistakes and stop giving into the temptation to listen to low-to-medium quality leaks on my laptop. I seriously can't get over how much better the CD sounds than the leak. I always scoff at that "it's like listening to a different album!" response to variations in audio fidelity, MP3 vs lossless, etc., but listening straight through to the official version of this was eye-opening, at least in the sense that a handful of songs that had previously felt kind of ho-hum really popped out at me (mainly the Ed rockers), and the ones I liked before really shone.oneway23 wrote:So glad I waited for the high-resolution.

What if you have the leaks but don't listen to the leaks until after.the release, but it's still the leaks you are listening to, what do you call that then? A cab?theplatypus wrote:To be clear, if you didn't listen to any leaks but listened to the album when it was officially released/deliver to you, you're not "out" of the No Leak Club. You didn't listen to a LEAK! You did it! You won the club
No Leak club, baby. That’s what it’s all about.Kevin Davis wrote:I'm not listening to hi-res, but I'm envious of your restraint -- I need to learn from my mistakes and stop giving into the temptation to listen to low-to-medium quality leaks on my laptop. I need you to have mine let out around the shoulders, chest, and upper arms due to all these gains I’ve had stuck at home pumping iron while listening to Retrograde on repeat.96583UP wrote:and here I ordered Glacier Blue Blazers for the No Leak Club members and everything

I listened a bit to the leak post-release, and, comparing them, the official release sounds like I woke PJ up for school fifteen minutes after their alarm clock had gone off by yanking the woolly blanket sounds of the leak straight off.Kevin Davis wrote:I'm not listening to hi-res, but I'm envious of your restraint -- I need to learn from my mistakes and stop giving into the temptation to listen to low-to-medium quality leaks on my laptop. And by pumping iron, Bammer clearly means eating DiGiorno pizzasBammer wrote:I need you to have mine let out around the shoulders, chest, and upper arms due to all these gains I’ve had stuck at home pumping iron while listening to Retrograde on repeat.96583UP wrote:and here I ordered Glacier Blue Blazers for the No Leak Club members and everything
