Any good/recent cookbook recs? I've been tearing through Chicano Eats this summer and really enjoying it, have Alon Shaya's on deck but also looking for some variety.

Oh fuck yeah, literally just watched the Bourdain episode where he goes to Juhu last night. Didn't realize they had a cookbook out.

we have friends where the wife is always complaining about never being able to lose weight. she drinks every night. and last night her husband let on that every dinner that she makes is out of an ina garten recipe book. i'm not sure there is a recipe of hers where she doesn't use 20 sticks of butter.

I love a good Barefoot Contessa recipe, even have made a few Paula Deen ones before, but that's not every day cooking.

i do their online subscriptions. everything is available there.

used to get all 3 now we just have milk street..the other are great though we just never renewed

i felt like a giant kitchen idiot today...i'm making pasta sauce and grabbed their can opener which i'd never seen before..an oxo brand
i spent 15 minutes trying to figure it out before i finally watched a youtube video..i hung my head in shame
