I actually really liked the strings on The End. So I'd be happy with strings. In the context of a slightly darker album I'll like them even more. They seemed so trite because of other things on the album making them seem more trite.

70+ days till release.

still plenty of time to highlight and delete the piano from the beginning and end of the track.

Can we get this done? Who's our most proactive RM representative?

Which Brendan wrote and will suggest that its inclusion will bring the album more agency.

Don't we need to use one of those petition making websites that has some authority in terms of gaining government attention?

I bet Boom hates the guy. I mean seriously. It's hard enough getting your claws into Pearl Jam without some douchebag pretending he's also a member of Pearl Jam all of a sudden.

So we're waiting for the day boom dies in a mysterious accident and BoB joins the band as fulltime keyboardist/ pianist/cheesificator?

We can't let this happen. Boom Watch 2013 everyone.

We should put his profile on a coin or a banknote to keep alive his legacy.

Strings work perfectly for The End. I suspect Ed wanted them to keep BOB from fucking it up with some pseudo piano of his.

I'm kind of hoping that this 'special guest' appearance from Brendan was just appeasement from Ed. "You can have the live appearance, fine, just no fucking piano on the album." How awkward did he look when he was swaying to the piano section? Especially the second part, which Brendan started after Ed had already finished the song. Just to, you know, reiterate how unnecessary it was.

The song doesn't need that intro either. It sounds forced on it.

Yup. I wonder how much more we'd like the song if we hadn't had that church intro. It basically sets you up to hate it.

I think it will be a nice studio track. I will admin the intro/outro keys really have made me dislike the song more tha I probably should.
