you better get used to this nonsense. you still have a long road ahead of you for the next 15 or so winters.
I thought private school would be more gung ho, but seems to be proving the opposite.

We’re right on the line between getting 3-7” or 7-12” of snow tonight. Honestly, I hope we get the 12”. That way I can make all my closure texts/calls/emails then go back to bed.

It's 13 degrees today and it feels wonderful compared to the last 5 days. I hate this. Winter is the worst.

Chaos here today. All buses and trains cancelled, now the airport is closed. Just a ton of snow and wind. Unusual that the winter has such an effect in a country like Norway, that is used to heavy winters.

That is strange, but it happens here in #chiberia too if the snow’s coming down faster than the plows can keep up. And yeah, if windy and drifting.

We got 6” of snow Sunday-Monday night. It’s been a constant challenge of seeing who will actually come to work. I’ve slowly been able to open. Monday, all were closed, yesterday two were open for partial day and today all are open for partial day. Temp was -7 when I got up this morning, tho it’s supposed to get up to 30 later today.

We have had a run of ridiculous heat here the past 2 weeks. And just before it started our bebroom AC crapped itself completely. Such fun.

Wed 3/1 - 32c (90f)
Thu 4/1 - 31c (88f)
Fri 5/1 - 31c (88f)
Sat 6/1 - 33c (92f)
Sun 7/1 - 36c (97f)
Mon 8/1 - 37c (99f)
Tue 9/1 - 31c (88f)
Wed 10/1 - 31c (88f)
Thu 11/1 - 32c (90f)
Fri 12/1 - 37c (99f)
Sat 13/1 - 41c (106f)
Sun 14/1 - 37c (99f)
Mon 15/1 - 35c (95f)
Tue 16/1 - 39c (102f)
Wed 17/1 - 31c (88f)

But I'd still take this heat without an aircon in my bedroom than having to deal with snow.

Got a half inch or so overnight, which our shoveling service won’t touch, so jumped at taking my turn clearing the sidewalk and interior walks. Someone else is up tomorrow to handle the 1-2” we’re getting tonight.
