No, there's something more elaborate about it all than that.

I definitely get a

the album threads are about the albums, I'm not sure how that wouldn't include the concept of each one...

That's not the point. The point is deciding to do this randomly based on a bias. There are plenty of threads that could fall into that category that could be "cleaned up" or "merged" that aren't. That was the underlying point. Ironically, I post a reasonable thread on a reasonable topic that isn't about the album itself... and wouldn't you know...

Kat, Sea and company arrive to piss and moan.

When I first saw your name illuminEddie , I thought you were here to tell us about how Eddie is a mindless puppet for the illuminati overlords or something. I'm a tad disappointed it hasn't come up yet

Id be surprised if they all wrote lyrics with a specific theme in mind, but mostly because it doesn't seem like their usual 'go where the music takes us'/winging it MO. Maybe the similarities came about cause they all read that book.

So do you recommend we take a poll to see what threads should be merged? We may not get around to doing it to all the threads that we should. Please point some out and I'd be happy to take a look at the situation.

ok, I agree, but there isn't an artificial intelligence system running the board, so there are just naturally differences in who deems which threads are worthwhile as their own threads and which are better merged.

I always saw the pit threads as very poorly moderated by kat and sea, and when they did moderate, it was usually to lock threads they thought people were not living up to their own standards, or sometimes just delete them

all they did was merge your thread into this one, which is not terribly radical or fascist or whatever for the pj chat area of the board.

go post it in GD if you want free reign over it - but people will tear it to shreds for a completely different set of reasons when you do.

Seriously, you have a place you can discuss the concept, along with anything else about the said album - in the main album thread.

It's not like you're being told not to discuss the subject at all.

Jesus, it's too early in the morning for this bullshit. I haven't even had my 3rd coffee yet.

Just don't be a dick about it. If you disagree you don't have to get so up in arms about it.

I think the only threads that could be merged that haven/t - are those about lightning bolt and various releases since. Its all new. If any of those threads wouuld be posted next year they would be merged into the Lightning Bolt thread.

Most everything else is kept nicely in the album and sotm threads.
