I prefer her love to Jesus.

Do you mean you prefer her love toward Jesus, her love as opposed to Jesus' love, or her ability to love compared to Jesus as an entity?

$100 bucks says she doesn't love you at all...

$1,000 says Jesus doesn't.

She prefers my love to Jesus.

Are you saying she would rather have your love than Jesus' love, that she knows you love her and hates Jesus, but not you, or that she doesn't believe Jesus is the son of God?

$1.00 says she doesn't even know that you love her...

$1,000,000 that if she does know, she's watching her back.

If heaven exists, I hope it's front row seats to see Annie Clark for all eternity.

“They’re from the same sessions [as ‘St Vincent] and I love both of the songs. They just didn’t quite fit into what I was trying to say with with ‘St Vincent’ unfortunately; they just didn’t fit in the weird puzzle piece that is sequencing an album. I want people to hear them and I love them very dearly. They can sort of represent patrilocal and matrifocal versions of the world; mother father sidey-side.”

— St. Vincent on Pieta/Sparrow from DIY Mag

Big ups again to andyslash for hooking me up. :peace:

They'll be available on a 10 in RSD single on Friday. Other than that there are some live versions floating around.

I haven't had time to write anything in a few weeks, Joey, but I'm still listening fairly regularly. My current top 5 (but not in order)

Rattlesnake
Severed Crossed Fingers
The Stranger
Cruel (there's something compelling about how prominent her breathing is in this song. I don't even know if I like it or not, but it's so hard to ignore)
The Apocalypse Song.
