Selling his piss to Ryan Braun.

im pretty sure, ive never defended him, and pretty much said hes guilty as fuck plenty of times already idiots
Didn't you call him "innocent" after he got off on a technicality the last time he got caught?
nope... ive said since before he even got busted, he fits the mold of someone who would look for a short cut to stay on the field.
But you did say this:

leaning towards wanting to believe him, is different then blindly defending him like some... and, after he was linked to the Miami thing, ive said plenty of times, it does not look good for him (especially if its true that MLB only found out about the Miami clinic and Bosch because of their investigation on Braun)

that being said... as others are saying here, the witch hunt, and all you getting all excited that Braun is finally gonna get his, well... not likely.

heres a question for Selig...
if you can suspend Braun/A-Rod and others for their association with Bosch... simply on HIS word that they paid him for things...
can the players union now suspend you for your association with Bosch? now that we KNOW youve paid Bosch for things?

I get what you're saying, but the thing is when he was suspended for using steroids then it can be safely assumed that he was purchasing steroids. He was punished for his violation and they have now discovered where he (allegedly) was purchasing said steroids from. He's (potentially) getting punished on both sides unlike everybody else who has been suspended for steroids even though everybody who used must have purchased them as well. But this isn't a double jeopardy issue or anything else. MLB is a private organization and can choose to punish its members however they see fit within their legal rights. But I don't like it, and suspensions based off this guys testimony seems absurd to me but what do I know, I always side with rights of the accused.
I get what you're saying now.

Seriously, the more I hear about this, and you take everything into consideration... if MLB tries to suspend anyone it will be a joke.

Braun tests positive for the high testosterone.

Brauns positive test is leaked
Braun gets off on a technicality.

MLB Investigates how, Brauns leak became public knowledge, and the trail leads to a clinic in Miami, run by Bosch, that appears to be a major source for Steroids in baseball.

Brauns name appears with a sum of $20,000, Braun says, its for the consultation on his case, they did not pay as they didnt receive anything worth while.
Bosch confirms this report.

Bosch refuses to work with MLB/release his records, MLB files a lawsuit.
Bosch, low on money, agrees to some sort of agreement with MLB to spill what he knows

Reports now say Bosch went to ARod first, and may have tried to extort money to keep him from going to MLB, which leads back to the Braun case... Bosch wants $20,000 to consult about his positive test, Braun says no, and Bosch appears to have turned around and leaked the report to the press?

the guy has ZERO credibility, hes gotta have some rock solid evidence, like, VIDEO PROOF
I dont think Brauns innocent at all, but this witch hunt and all the people thinking hes going to get suspended now? after he already beat a positive test? LOL

So lets get this straight... a positive test, Braun can beat
but hes going to hang on the words from an unlicensed drug dealer whos basically talking to whomever the highest bidder is / or / whomever offers the best protection from the MANY people that are out to get him at this point? LOL

I'm pretty convinced no one is being suspended and MLB is going to come out of this with egg on it's face again. Sure, players are using, sure they bought illegal supplements from this guy, but there's pretty much nothing they can do to prove it.

I don't think there'll be any suspensions either. Even though, the guys are likely guilty, Bosch's admissions won't be worth anything. MLB is more likely just upset that this investigation of Bosch even got out to the media.

The twelve-year-old part of me can't help but think this is the best news of the year: the Toronto Blue Jays have signed Chien-Ming Wang to join a rotation that already includes Josh Johnson and R.A. Dickey.

He looked REALLY good in the WBC... 2 complete games for Taiwan
and funny enough, I just looked up his stats like a week ago? wondering how he was doing? with all the injuries the Yankees had? why hadnt they brought him up at all?

heres his stats from AAA in 9 starts
4-4, 2.33 ERA, 1CG, 57 hits in 58 innings, 17 runs 15 earned, 25/10 K to BB, with a .256 OBA

thats not, horrible...

I thought the Yankees had brought him back but I figured if they had he'd be up with them by now, he was filthy in the WBC.

He was in their minor leagues? must have had an out clause that if they didnt bring him up by the end of May he got go somewhere else? just guessing on that.

JUST got this off yahoo

Yankees released RHP Chien-Ming Wang.

Advice: Wang has elected to opt out of his minor league deal and will sign on with the Blue Jays to start on Tuesday. The sinkerballer has posted a 2.33 ERA and 1.16 WHIP over nine starts at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Wang was bad for the Nationals last season but isn't a bad depth add.

This is pretty awesome.

D-backs draft ASU's Cory Hahn

PHOENIX -- When the Arizona Diamondbacks reached the 34th round of baseball's draft, they didn't pick for need or take a chance on potential.

Instead, they made a gesture to a player whose career was cut short.

Bypassing conventional wisdom in the draft, the Diamondbacks used the 1,020th overall pick of the draft on Arizona State's Cory Hahn, an outfielder who was partially paralyzed during a game in 2011.

"It was a very emotional selection for us to make," Diamondbacks president Derrick Hall said on Saturday. "When (scouting director) Ray Montgomery and his staff came up with the idea and presented it to me, it was a no-brainer."

Hahn was one of the nation's top prospects in 2010, when he was California's Mr. Baseball after leading Mater Dei High School to a state title.

He was drafted in the 26th round by San Diego that year, but likely would have gone much higher had he not announced plans to play at Arizona State.

Hahn's college career lasted three games.

Playing against New Mexico on Feb. 20, 2011, he suffered a spinal injury after sliding head-first on a steal attempt and colliding with Lobos second baseman Kyle Stiner's knee.

Hahn was taken off on a stretcher and had surgery later that night, but was paralyzed from the mid-chest down after fracturing his C-5 vertebrae. He's spent the past two years helping Arizona State's program as a student coach.

The Diamondbacks waited until the 34th round to pick Hahn because he wore No. 34 at ASU.

"It's not about us. It's really about Cory and his family," Hall said. "I was able to spend time with them right after the injury in his hospital room and he's a wonderful kid. We want to make this permanent. We don't want this to just be about the selection and him being a draft pick, but about him working in full-time employment with the Diamondbacks and hopefully we'll make that come to fruition for he and his family here soon."

now THAT we can agree on...
just wish theyd get Fister some run support

do ya think Scherzer will be able to keep this up? his delivery is so, herky jerky... could see him losing command and ending up like Ubaldo who has a similar herky jerky delivery.

Scherzer is as good as it gets. And was pretty consistent last year other than April.

Hey Ubaldo had a good 2 year run too where he was nearly unhittable (even tossed a no no didnt he?)

its great if Max has it figured out... the big jump with him has come in the strike outs, if he can keep that up, he should be great... but... I still dont like his delivery LOL

Great read on Ubaldo Chris... I saw a break down earlier on Lincecum like that...
hes gotta be one of the most head scratching cases out there, go from a 3 time Cy Young, to, this? while maintaining a good strike out to walk rate? (hes still averaging a strike per-9 I believe?)

and, I take back the Scherzer / Ubaldo compairison, after watching the clips Ubaldo is more herky jerky before the pitch... when he seperates his ball hand from glove. Scherzer bothers me more on his violent follow through.
