Speaking with Rolling Stone last week, McCready stated that the band had about "seven completed ideas, and maybe 10 or so in the bank. We have some great ideas of what we can do with the completed stuff too. Jay-Z is going to [appear on a track] and may even mix it! We'll see. Brendan is totally cool with guests stepping in with that kinda stuff."

When asked for any tentative titles, McCready said: "There are only a few Ed has put lyrics to. One is an Avocado outtake called 'Navy Bean' and there is also a new one called 'Away and Alone'. My favorite is one Ed has just put lyrics to called 'Disconnected'. It's Ed really going all out and getting angry about some of the criticism we had of our last record from our online community. It's definitely more angry than anything off that record." McCready expects the album to be out by the end of the year, as well as a bonus outtake EP.
