Yep. That's exactly what happened. Exactly.

He served his four year ban from 2006-2010 but sure, teenage swimmer girl is the final word on all that is right and just in the world of competitive sports. I'd actually love to hear why you think it's appropriate for her to be pissing on her teammate in the media.

King was totally within reason to call out the Russian swimmer. For one, she actually competes against her. The Russians doping problems were also pretty recent, recent enough it is apparently controversial she was even allowed to be in Rio.

Now when the media asked her about Gatlin I can think of several diplomatic responses she could have made. Instead, she was feeling herself after vanquishing the Russian and stepped out of bounds. Gatlin has done his time and has been passing his tests for years. Tossing shade at someone who has seemingly worked his way back from his mistakes to do things the right way is something a jerk would do. I really hope she's not a jerk.

But hey, it could be worse....she could be a raging rectum like Hope Solo.
