To be fair, he was on drugs at a 1994 Pink Floyd concert.
That has to be a lot like buying a high definition TV and then using it to watch VHS recordings of mid-90's Nick at Nite.

Its one of those rare cases where he actually got fired and charged. He must have screwed up the investigation. A local cop basically said as much regarding the officer in the Oscar Grant case. If you play ball with your union rep these things tend to go away. Additionally, if the charges don't stick almost any cop can get reinstated with back pay and damages, regardless of how egregious their behavior. Felony convictions or voluntary withdrawal are about the only things that end their careers.
I'm sure the guy is relieved that this cop in particular has terrible marksmanship.

I wonder how much of this had to do with the fact taht it was in public and multiple witnesses could have corroborated with the video.
