Listening to the HoF Alive performance with Krusen. The first couple times I listened to it I didn't think it was really that great, but then everybody kept saying how good it sounded with Krusen on drums, so I thought I'd listen again............. Fuck this, gimme Matt. This performance with Krusen sounds disjointed, forced, and unnatural.

I didn't get why everyone was so blown away either, but everyone was so blown away a few months ago, I let them have their moment.
Gimmie Matt all day everyday, and if Matts not free, JANET FUCKING WEISS!

He's awesome, but basically meaningless in the PJ realm.

Wasn't there a time when Adam Levine wanted to be PJ's drummer? That would have been epic

Considering he used to be
in the band and has played on Stone's solo records, it seems like an obvious thing, but alas.

.....MC isn't behind the drums. I just listened to the Oakland boot and if you're a fan of the band's sound circa 93-96 then this is the boot to listen to. They sound like a controlled fury on these songs in a way I haven't heard from them since MC joined the band. No knock on Matt. He's a phenomenal drummer. But this band's sound was made for that slightly more chaotic drumming style. I miss this version of the band.
That's all. I'll prepare for the incoming shower of insults.
