I grew up about 30 miles from the nearest movie theatre. My parents were pretty young and enjoyed movies, so they brought my brother and I to a lot of PG-13 and R rated movies when we were young.
I also listened to a lot of Frank Zappa with my dad around that time.

My mom actually introduced me to Pearl Jam;
Ten is the first album I remember hearing, and I must have been like 3 years old. But that just made it worse: she became more religious, and then took away a bunch of music we had already heard. And the dark times began.
