I'm pretty psyched; this is shaping up to be a fantastic record.

This has leaked, and you can find it the usual places where you find leaked music. Be warned, though: it's a vinyl rip and not a good one, with lots of clicks and pops, kind of muted, and apparently at the incorrect speed. I listened to a bit of the first track and I'm going to wait until Friday to listen to the rest.

I liked Turtleneck but younger Matt would have sounded so much better in that.

Dark Side of the Gym is gorgeous.

I can't wait to hear this album.

3 more days! This is my most anticipated album of the year although it will be hard to top A Deeper Understanding.

By far my most anticipated. Actually, it might be the first new album of 2017 that I've purchased.

I'm going to see them tonight, and they're playing all of Sleep Well Beast for NPR's first listen live. I haven't listened to any of the new songs yet, so I'm pretty excited for this.

listening to this on npr. i realized on the system only dreams that there is such a fine line between matt hitting a higher note where he has to be loud and his paralyzing screaming that as a tendency to ruin songs for me. often he falls on the other side of that line. i hate screaming matt.

i guess i should've specified. i'm ok with it in the studio, but it's not all you hear. but the live takes can be excruciating.
