The photography in episode 2 is unbelievable, especially during Mike's boring stakeout

the shot of the courier parking on that bridge with the city lights in the background was amazing. The culverts under the bridge made it look like a Wes Anderson setpiece at first, but man was that a beautiful shot

I was disappointed in season 2. By the end I was rooting for Jimmy to fail. He's so clueless and unchanging.

Too much wasted time and filler.

The stuff with Mike was better, but it didn't really go anywhere either. At least it was entertaining.

Kim is so saintly I assume something terrible will happen to her eventually.

Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

One thing that's sort of weird is how the exact nature of the relationship between Jimmy and Kim is never quite revealed. My assumption is that:

They are occasional fuck-buddies, who haven't made the deeper emotional commitment of which they are both conflicted.

I think it's been made clear that they're a couple.

Yeah they have a murkier past (probably closer to the fuck-buddy thing, where they couldn't bring themselves to commit) but I think it's pretty clear that they're a couple now
